Gary Glitter - Glitter Banned From The Philippines
Disgraced rocker GARY GLITTER has been banned from the Philippines just months before he is due for release from a Vietnam jail.
The star - real name Paul Gadd - is currently serving a three-year sentence in a Vietnam prison after he was convicted in 2006 of committing obscene acts with two Vietnamese girls, aged just 11 and 12, but is due to be released in August (08).
The 64-year-old will be deported back to his native Britain, but will have to give officers three days notice if he wishes to go to another country.
Marcelino Libanan, the Philippines immigration chief, says, "I have placed him on a blacklist."
